A New Series

Shifting symbols, a Personal Journey

My latest series combines watercolor and collage techniques and makes use of a variety of esoteric symbolism derived from the hermetic tradition and Greek philosophy, as well as many other sources, including Durer’s inspirational print, Melencolia. The combined amalgamation of images results in spiritually loaded paintings that speak of the path towards the divine.

No matter whether I am painting with symbols or through pure abstraction, I hope to create works that act as avenues towards a greater understanding of myself, mankind, and our overall purpose here.  I mean them to be beautiful, but also mysterious and thoughtful.
